We stayed in Villa Miragalli from June 28th to July 12th 2008. We absolutely loved our stay - the villa, the views, 'blue' the cat all made our holiday just wonderful. We stay in villas every year and this has to be one of the very best. It truly was a struggle to go and visit the delights of the Almafi coast. All we wanted to do was chill and look at the views!Bruno, your help and attention to detail was first class. We would love to return someday and we will be recommending the villa to our friends. All the very best, Lisa, Debbie and Dave and Beverly. |

What an unbelieveably relaxing week we had with two of our best friends at Villa Miragalli in Colli di Fontanelle. A much needed stay in paradise after running around Venice, Florence and Rome for 8 days; in fact my wife said on the first morning while standing on the balcony that she thought she was in heaven! Italy is a beautiful country and this villa might be in the most beautiful spot of all. The views are breathtaking (pictures really don't do them justice) and always changing with the clouds, sun and weather. We spent far more time than originally planned just "hanging out" there, but after arriving, we could not think of any reason not to simply spend most of our days reading, playing ping pong, jumping in the pool, enjoying the nice weather, eating good Italian food, drinking local wines and staring out at the magnificent views -- maybe on our next visit we'll finally get to Pompei and Capri. No matter where you go, it doesn't get any better than this spot. And if you do decide to leave, it's very convenient to all the towns/villages of the Amalfi Coast. I don't know when we will return to Italy, but when we do, it will definitely be to come back to Villa Miragalli. Bruno is a great host and and more importantly a really nice guy. He was always willing to help and always available if we needed anything -- like when we accidentally shut off the solar panels that provide hot water. And Colli di Fontanelle is a great change of pace from the bigger cities -- very small village with friendly, helpful people, but all the supplies/food/wine you need just a 1/2 mile walk from the villa. Please feel free to email me if you want to know more about what it's like to rent a slice of heaven. Dave and Pat, Greenwich, CT Homeowner Response: Thank you Dave! I think that all the owners dreaming to recive guests like you and Pat, Mark and Diane! And after comments like yours.Thank you again! always Bruno |

We spent 4 delightful weeks at the Villa in May 2008. The views are unsurpassed. It was a marvelous place for just sitting around and reading or as a base for exploring the area from Naples to Salerno, including Capri and especially the Amalfi Coast. The owner, Bruno Acampora is charming and was consistently helpful with advice and all sorts of assistance, from the internet to parking in various cities. |
